You will have the opportunity to create a personal profile, search, filter, chat and match with other residents who will be living in the community. Yes! Our roommate matching program is powered by RoomSync–a roommate matching app. All requests are served on a first-come, first-served basis and are taken in order based on the date your lease was received. You can list your preferences on your housing application, and we will do our best to place you in the unit that fits those requests. Installments are due on the 1st of each month per the payment schedule outlined in the lease agreement. These installments do not represent a monthly rent amount and are not prorated. The lease agreement will reflect the total rent amount typically divided into 12 equal installments due August 1 - July 1. The resident is charged a total rent amount for the contracted occupancy period. The typical lease term is approximately 11.5 months of occupancy which coincides with the university’s academic calendar. We accept credit cards, debit cards and ACH payments online through our Resident Portal. No, bills are not sent to residents each month, but you may see payment reminders posted around the property. My experience may be different than others for maverick creek, but I hope this shows some semblance of what it is.Yes! Save time in the future and never miss a rental installment by setting up recurring payments. But that's an issue with the area and not the complex itself. And for walking around outside the apartments at night, it's not the safest, especially if you're a woman. If you don't have a guest permit for a car, you better go park somewhere else. Management will start filing for eviction only after a month of not paying your rent, and they recently started taking towing dead seriously. Our student apartments are surrounded by lots of restaurants. Here are the only two real downsides: management does not mess around, and right outside the apartments at night is suspect at best. Were located right on the edge of campus, so we may as well be UO on-campus student housing. They have their own dining rooms and they're two-stories tall. The apartments feel more like townhouses than they do apartments. It's easy to access UTSA since it's so easily walkable and the gym there isn't bad at all, it's open 24/7, and maintenance usually fixes things within a day (that's better than most complexes i've lived in). The bathrooms will be shared upstairs and the washing machines are in a room for each building.
Downsides are that you don't have your own bathroom or washing machine. The biggest bang for your buck would be Maverick Creek with a 4 bed costing only $465.
